Message From Maggie Sauders:
Most people know that Storehouse needs donations of food, especially now that the number of families they support has increased enormously. However, they also need donations of clothing and other household items. This winter it is going to be harder than ever for these families to heat their homes.
Consequently Storehouse would welcome donations of warm clothing, blankets, duvets and sleeping bags. These can be taken to Storehouse or to me at 2, Church Lea. Many thanks,

CHRISTMAS SHOEBOX APPEAL
Teams4U are organising the Shoebox project for 2022.
Your shoebox will be given to a vulnerable child, or family, through schools, nurseries, hospitals and orphanages. Our aim is that each box is given in relationship with the local community as part of a long-term commitment to these children.
The Village Group have has ordered 100 boxes to be filled, and 100 Christmas Cards all of which will be in the Village Hall for collection at the October and November Village Hall Coffee Mornings and the St. James Coffee Mornings.
